Bryan Little
Senior Associate, Cayman Islands
Prior to joining Travers Thorp Alberga in 2021, Bryan practiced as a Barrister of England & Wales following successful pupillages at London company and insolvency set, Erskine Chambers, and then offshore Chambers , XXIV Old Buildings. He moved offshore to Guernsey in 2015 and to the Cayman Islands in 2018. Bryan is an experienced litigator focusing on finance-related disputes, company and partnership disputes, domestic and cross-border insolvency, commercial fraud, injunctions , asset tracing, and general commercial litigation. Bryan also advises on offshore trusts in a contentious and non-contentious context.
While in Guernsey, Bryan acted for the executive directors of Carlyle Capital Corporation in defence of a claim valued at over US$1 billion. More recently Bryan has acted in some of the highest-profile cases in the Cayman Islands, including acting for the conflict director of the largest fund in the Abraaj Group and for the State of Kuwait in connection with its investment in the Port Fund LP and has appeared in numerous arbitrations and in Courts at all levels, including recently in an appeal before Her Majesty’s Privy Council.
