Senior Associate, Cayman Islands
A former Partner of Baker & McKenzie Hong Kong, Head of its Funds Group and Co-Head of its Private Equity Group, Chris joined the firm in June 2022 and brought over 30 years’ experience in the corporate, securities and finance sectors. Chris specializes in advising hedge funds, real estate funds and private equity funds and he has advised on the launch of over 50 funds regulated in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda.
Chris’s clients include global financial institutions, corporates, fund managers, family offices, high net worth persons and entrepreneurs. He has advised on fund launches, restructurings and regulatory and compliance matters, investments in virtual assets, technology and other asset classes, on takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and securities offerings and on a platform for emerging managers providing cost-effective, turn-key solutions for the launch of funds in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
